In addition to her academic accolades, Dr. Hylton's literary prowess shines through as the author of the Award-winning memoir, "The Unvarnished Truth: Purpose in the Pain", among several other literary works. She is also a keynote speaker.

Additionally, her dedication to the well-being of children is evident through her former role as the Chairman of the Friends of the Bustamante Children's Hospital.
